About the Role

We are hiring Delivery Managers to own end-to-end execution of customer engagements across our customer delivery. You will be the bridge between customers, stakeholders, internal architects and engineers, and our founders — running multiple parallel AI and cloud projects at startup velocity, where shipping happens in weeks, not quarters. This is not a project-administration role.


Our Delivery Managers own commercial outcomes, validate technical architecture, push back on estimation, and build the playbooks and governance frameworks that will scale Aivar from 150 to 500. You will work alongside ex-AWS leaders, directly with founders, and with customers who expect production-grade AI — not demos.



Responsibilities


  • Pre-sales to delivery handover — review the SOW the moment it lands, identify gaps and assumptions, run the internal kickoff before the external one, and align the delivery team on what was sold versus what is deliverable.
  • Portfolio governance — manage multiple parallel customer engagements across pods of 4–5 engineers each, with a clear RAG framework, weekly customer status, and a leadership-grade dashboard you can defend in any review.
  • Estimation and commercial accountability — independently validate effort estimates against historical benchmarks, defend timelines to customers with data, and own profitability on your portfolio, not just delivery.
  • Technical validation — review HLDs and architectures from your architects, map every customer requirement to a component in the design, stress-test NFRs (scalability, latency, compliance), and challenge the architect when it does not add up.
  • Stakeholder management at scale — operate confidently with customer business owners, customer IT and security teams, internal engineering, and Aivar founders. Differentiate communication by stakeholder type, not by template.
  • Production hyper-care — own quality through tail after go-live. Drift monitoring, accuracy SLAs, customer escalations, and roadmap conversations all sit with you.
  • Delivery playbooks — build the cadence, tooling, and frameworks that future Delivery Managers will inherit. The team is small enough that what you build becomes the company standard.


Qualifications

  • 8 –15 years in IT services, with at least 5 years in delivery management roles owning multi-project portfolios.
  • Demonstrated end-to-end delivery ownership — discovery to go-live to hyper-care — on at least 3–4 enterprise engagements you can speak to in detail.
  • Quantified KPI ownership — you can describe your last role in terms of CSAT, SLA adherence, margin, or revenue, not only “projects delivered on time”.
  • Hands-on experience navigating enterprise stakeholders in BFSI, healthcare, retail, or the public sector — including compliance, security, and procurement teams.
  • Track record of compressed-cycle delivery — you have shipped meaningful customer outcomes in 4–8 week windows
  • Comfort reviewing HLDs and system designs — you cannot architect, but you can read a design and identify whether NFRs and integrations are covered.


Required Skills

  • Working knowledge of AWS services across compute, storage, AI/ML, and integration layers — Bedrock, SageMaker, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, Connect, Kinesis, and the like.
  • Understanding of LLM and agentic architectures — RAG patterns, prompt engineering, guardrails, evaluation, and the operational realities of model drift.
  • Fluency with PM tooling — Jira at minimum, ideally also Rocketlane, Smartsheet, ClickUp, or Asana — and the adaptability to pick up a new tool inside a week.
