Work Experience : 5+ Years at least


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our growing data team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines, transforming raw data into actionable insights, and optimizing our modern data stack.


The ideal candidate should be well versed with Fivetran for data ingestion, dbt (Data Build Tool) for data transformation, and Snowflake to be used as the cloud data warehouse.


Should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Will be able to communicate with the client independently. Should be familiar and willing to work in a fast-paced Agile environment. Take ownership of the tasks and work with team to meet the timelines.


Main Responsibilities:


Data Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain scalable pipelines using Fivetran to ingest data from various source systems into Snowflake.


Data Modeling & Transformation: Architect and build modular, optimized, and well-tested data models within Snowflake using dbt.


Snowflake Development & Engineering

  • Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data models, warehouses, schemas, stages, and virtual warehouses.
  • Implement Snowflake features such as Time Travel, Streams, Tasks, Clustering Keys, and Snowpipe.
  • Build secure and scalable data sharing, role-based access, and governance processes.


Data Quality & Governance: Implement testing frameworks within dbt to ensure high data quality, accuracy, and compliance with data governance policies.


Collaboration & Project Execution

  • Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and engineering teams to understand requirements.
  • Support UAT, production deployment, and post-migration validation.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.



Required Qualifications : 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering.


Mandatory Technical Skills:


Snowflake: Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, virtual warehouses, snowpipe, time travel, secure views, and performance tuning.

dbt (Data Build Tool): Advanced proficiency in writing modular SQL, macros, hooks, packages, and implementing dbt tests and documentation.

Fivetran: Proven experience setting up, monitoring, and troubleshooting data connectors and custom integrations.



Experience with one of the Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a must


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, or Git-based versioning for data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with continuous data migration, CDC techniques, and large-volume data loading.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning in Snowflake using clustering, micro-partitions, and warehouse optimization.
  • Snowflake certifications (SnowPro Core, SnowPro Advanced Architect/Engineer).
  • dbt and FiveTran certifications


You should have an inclination for learning new technology as required and be able to work on multiple projects, delivering on deadlines in weekly sprints.


  • Salary Range - It can be negotiated based on experience and interview performance.
  • Interview Rounds : at least 4 with 1 of them being a hands on round
  • Paid Leaves : 18 days per year
  • Location - Remote
  • Shift - Expected to work till 2:00 am - IST


We are based out of US so only work with overseas clients and applicants should be ready to work till the time mentioned above.
