Role Description This is a full-time Accounting and Data Entry role based in Surat, offered in a hybrid model that combines on-site work with some flexibility to work from home. The role involves recording day-to-day financial transactions, entering data into accounting software, and maintaining accurate ledgers for payables, receivables, and general accounts. Responsibilities include preparing and updating basic financial reports, assisting with financial statements, and ensuring that journal entries are complete, timely, and properly documented. The position also includes reconciling account balances, verifying supporting documentation, and coordinating with internal teams for missing or incorrect information. The team member will help maintain organized digital and physical records, support periodic audits, and contribute to process improvements in data quality and financial accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in accounting and finance, including understanding of Finance, Financial Statements, and basic reporting principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Busy Accounting Software and accurate entry of Journal Entries (Accounting).
  • Well-developed Analytical Skills for reconciliations, variance checks, and validating financial data.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and comfort working with numerical data and large data sets.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to maintain organized financial records.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team within a hybrid work model, managing time and priorities effectively.
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred; relevant coursework or certifications are an advantage.
