The Cocktail Story is India's leading alco-bev focused experiential marketing and production agency, delivering integrated campaigns across on-trade, off-trade, retail visibility, events, influencer marketing, content creation, social media, and brand experiences for some of the world's biggest spirits, beer, wine, and premium beverage brands.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Digital Head who understands the unique nuances of alcohol marketing and can lead digital strategy, content, social media, influencer marketing, performance campaigns, and creative storytelling for premium alco-bev brands.
This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creative leadership, client management, and execution excellence.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with alcohol, lifestyle, luxury, hospitality, food & beverage, nightlife, or premium consumer brands.
Key ResponsibilitiesDigital Strategy & Planning
- Lead digital strategy for all client accounts.
- Develop annual, quarterly, and campaign-specific digital roadmaps.
- Build integrated 360° digital campaigns across social, content, influencer, and experiential touchpoints.
- Translate brand objectives into measurable digital KPIs.
- Stay updated on evolving alco-bev regulations and platform guidelines.
Social Media Leadership
- Oversee Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Drive content calendars and monthly planning.
- Ensure platform-specific storytelling and audience engagement.
- Build innovative social-first campaign ideas.
- Monitor trends and identify opportunities for real-time content.
Content & Creative Direction
- Lead content strategy across static, video, reels, and creator-led formats.
- Work closely with designers, photographers, videographers, and editors.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and premium positioning.
- Maintain high standards of creative excellence across all accounts.
Influencer & Creator Marketing
- Develop influencer strategies across premium, luxury, nightlife, food, beverage, travel, and lifestyle categories.
- Build and manage creator partnerships.
- Negotiate influencer collaborations and partnerships.
- Measure and report influencer campaign performance.
Performance Marketing
- Oversee paid media strategies.
- Manage Meta, Google, YouTube, and LinkedIn advertising.
- Optimize campaign performance and media spends.
- Drive lead generation and awareness objectives.
Client Servicing & Account Leadership
- Present strategies and campaign ideas directly to clients.
- Lead monthly and quarterly review meetings.
- Build strong relationships with brand managers and marketing teams.
- Ensure timely delivery of all digital mandates.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor:

- Conduct regular reviews and training sessions.
- Establish SOPs and best practices across the department.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track performance metrics across all platforms.
- Analyze campaign effectiveness.
- Prepare monthly performance reports and strategic recommendations.
- Use data to drive optimization and decision-making.

Preferred ExperienceMust Have
- 6–10+ years of experience in digital marketing.
- Agency experience is mandatory.
- Experience handling premium or lifestyle brands.
- Strong understanding of social media and influencer ecosystems.
- Experience leading teams.

- Experience in alco-bev marketing.
- Experience with nightlife, hospitality, luxury, fashion, or experiential brands.
- Existing network of creators and influencers.
- Strong presentation and pitching skills.
