Role Overview
We are looking for a Freelance Performance Marketer to drive qualified lead generation and client acquisition through data-driven marketing strategies.
This role is ideal for someone who understands B2B SaaS, AI ecosystem, and high-ticket service marketing, and can build and optimize performance funnels end-to-end.
You will be responsible for generating high-intent leads from founders, hiring managers, and leadership teams at AI-first companies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Performance Marketing Strategy
- Develop and execute paid acquisition strategies across:
- LinkedIn Ads (primary)
- Google Ads (Search & Display)
- Retargeting campaigns
- Identify high-value ICP segments (AI startups, SaaS founders, CTOs, etc.)
- Build funnel strategies aligned with long sales cycles and high-ticket services
2. Campaign Execution & Optimization
- Launch, manage, and continuously optimize campaigns for:
- Lead quality (not just volume)
- Cost per qualified lead (CPL)
- Conversion to booked calls
- A/B test creatives, messaging, and landing pages
- Optimize targeting, bidding, and funnel performance
3. Funnel & Conversion Optimization
- Work with internal team to improve:
- Landing pages
- Lead magnets (if needed)
- Conversion flows (forms, CTAs, booking flows)
- Implement retargeting and nurture flows
4. Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report on:
- CAC, CPL, ROAS
- Funnel conversion rates
- Channel performance
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations
5. Messaging & Positioning Alignment
- Translate our value proposition into high-performing ad creatives
- Align campaigns with our positioning:
- AI-first hiring expertise
- Speed + precision
- High-signal candidate evaluation
Requirements
Must-Have
- Proven experience in B2B performance marketing
- Strong expertise in LinkedIn Ads
- Experience managing budgets and optimizing for lead quality
- Understanding of long sales cycles and high-ticket funnels
- Hands-on experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, ad dashboards, etc.)
Good to Have
- Experience marketing to AI startups / tech founders
- Familiarity with recruitment, hiring, or talent services
- Experience with CRM and lead tracking tools
- Copywriting skills for ads and landing pages
Success Metrics
- Number of qualified leads generated
- Cost per qualified lead (CPL)
- Conversion rate to discovery calls
- Pipeline contribution (revenue impact)
