Job Description – Airport Operations Systems Support Engineer (DLP Support)

Location: Navi Mumbai International Airport (Onsite)

Experience Required: 4–7 Years


Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Airport Operations Systems Support Engineer to provide 24x7

operational and DLP support for critical airport operational systems at Navi Mumbai International

Airport.

The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting day-to-day airport operational

systems to ensure uninterrupted airport operations. The candidate will work closely with airport

operations teams, airlines, ground handlers, OEM vendors, and IT teams for incident management,

operational coordination, and system support activities.


The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in airport operational systems such as AODB, AOCC, RMS, and FIDS, along with strong understanding of airport operational workflows and system integrations.


Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational and application support for airport systems including:

o AODB (Airport Operational Database)

o AOCC (Airport Operations Control Center)

o RMS (Resource Management System)

o FIDS (Flight Information Display System)

• Monitor airport operational systems and ensure smooth functioning of live airport

operations.

• Handle incidents, alerts, and operational issues raised by airport stakeholders and

operations teams.

• Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, airlines, ground handlers, and internal IT teams for issue

resolution.

• Analyze logs, data flow, and system behavior to identify and troubleshoot operational

issues.

• Support and monitor integrations between airport systems such as: BHS , PPS, VDGS, ATC,

BMS, EGATE, DATAWAREHOUSE, CARGO, ACS

• Perform validation of operational data flow across integrated systems.

• Support deployment activities, configuration changes, testing, and operational validations.

• Prepare and maintain incident reports, RCA documents, operational SOPs, and support

documentation.

• Coordinate during flight disruptions, operational contingencies, and critical airport

situations.

• Ensure SLA adherence and timely resolution of incidents.

• Work in rotational shifts to support 24x7 airport operations environment.


Must Have Skills


• Strong understanding of airport operations and operational workflows

• Hands-on experience with:

o AODB

o AOCC

o RMS

o FIDS

• Experience in airport operations support / DLP support environment

• Knowledge of airport systems integration and operational data flow

• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills

• Experience working in live airport operational environments

• Good stakeholder coordination and communication skills

• Ability to work under operational pressure and time-critical situations

Good to Have Skills


• Knowledge of:

➢ IATA & ICAO standards

➢ IATA AIDX XML message format

➢ TypeB & SSIM message

• Exposure to integrated airport systems:

• Knowledge of monitoring tools, log analysis, and operational dashboards


Professional & Technical Skills

• Strong operational support and troubleshooting capabilities

• Understanding of airport operational systems and integrations

• Ability to analyze operational issues and coordinate resolution activities

• Experience in production support and incident management

• Good analytical, documentation, and communication skills

• Ability to work in multi-stakeholder airport environments

Additional Information

• Candidate should be comfortable working in a live operational airport environment

• Immediate joiners or candidates with airport operational support experience preferred
