Company Description Avid Capital is a technology-driven Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) focused on serving micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across India. The company offers a range of lending products, including unsecured working capital demand loans, unsecured business term loans, machinery loans, mortgage loans, and purchase invoice discounting. In addition to lending, Avid Capital provides guidance and advisory support to help SMEs grow sustainably and manage their finances more effectively.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Credit Manager role based in Pune. The Credit Manager will evaluate loan applications, analyze financial statements, and assess the creditworthiness of MSME clients across various products. The role includes setting and reviewing credit limits, monitoring existing portfolios for early warning signs, and recommending appropriate risk mitigation measures. The Credit Manager will collaborate with sales, operations, and risk teams to ensure timely credit decisions, policy adherence, and regulatory compliance. Day-to-day responsibilities also include preparing credit assessment reports, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting internal and external audits, and contributing to continuous improvement of credit policies and processes.
Qualifications

  • Strong credit domain expertise, including Credit Management and Credit Risk Management for MSME lending.
  • Solid foundation in Finance and Credit, with the ability to interpret financial statements and cash flows.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills, including quantitative analysis, risk assessment, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in NBFCs, banks, or financial institutions, preferably in SME/MSME lending.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of credit policies, underwriting frameworks, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial analysis tools; comfort working with technology-driven credit systems.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain credit decisions clearly to internal stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple cases and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
