The Role

You will join as a Senior AI Engineer on the Axon™ platform — KairoPact’s internal AI intelligence engine — with a clear pathway to Lead AI Engineer as you grow into the role.

The role spans the full journey: from implementing technical strategy and architectural standards set by the CTO, to progressively owning day-to-day technical execution. You’ll work across the entire stack — agent pipelines, LLM routing, observability, retrieval, and data engineering.

This is not a role for someone who wants close management. It suits an engineer who is ready to own, and who sees a structured ramp-up as a springboard rather than a safety net.

What You’ll Do

●     Translate CTO architectural direction into actionable engineering — then progressively take greater ownership of those decisions as you build deep familiarity with the platform.

●     Drive full-stack delivery with the team — owning end-to-end implementation, not just individual components.

●     Design and evolve multi-agent pipelines — sequenced workflows with conditional routing, structured outputs, and human review gates.

●     Own the LLM routing layer — model selection, fallback logic, per-call cost tracking, and provider management across frontier models.

●     Drive end-to-end observability — every agent step, decision, token cost, and failure mode instrumented and reproducible.

●     Build knowledge retrieval systems — semantic search with structured filtering, namespace isolation, and data privacy controls.

●     Own backend data engineering — schema design, migrations, idempotency patterns, and multi-tenant isolation.

What We’re Looking For

Required

●     4+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years focused on production AI/ML systems.

●     Proven experience owning or leading delivery on an AI product or platform — not just contributing to one.

●     Deep hands-on experience with agentic AI systems — multi-step pipelines, tool use, structured orchestration, multi-agent coordination.

●     Strong Python: async programming, type annotations, clean architecture, testing discipline.

●     Experience with LLM routing or orchestration frameworks (e.g. LangChain, LlamaIndex, DSPy, or equivalent).

As we expand our platform capabilities, we’re now building a B2B data platform that will power internal systems, customer-facing APIs, and data-driven workflows at scale.


We operate as a fully remote, high-ownership engineering team focused on speed, execution, and building technically strong products.

 

🔍 About the Role

We’re hiring a Senior Full-Stack Developer to help architect, build, and own our core data platform.

You’ll initially work alongside our lead engineer to ship the first production version, then take long-term ownership of the platform as it scales.


This is a highly ownership-driven role for someone comfortable working on API-first systems, indexing/search infrastructure, and scalable B2B SaaS products.

 

🛠️ What You’ll Build

You’ll work on a B2B data platform that:

•          Ingests and indexes large datasets from third-party vendors

•          Serves data through a performant API layer

•          Powers a clean, scalable web application experience

•          Handles efficient querying, indexing, and search workflows

 

The data ingestion pipeline itself is handled separately — your primary focus will be:

•          API architecture

•          Query performance

•          Search/indexing systems

•          Platform scalability

•          Web application development

 

💻 Tech Stack

•          Backend/API: GoLang

•          Frontend: Laravel + Vue.js

•          Search & Indexing: Elasticsearch, Typesense, or equivalent

 

✅ Required Skills

•          5+ years of full-stack development experience

•          Strong production experience with Go, specifically building APIs

•          Strong experience with Laravel and Vue.js

•          Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, Typesense, or similar indexing/search tools

•          Experience building API-first platforms or data-heavy products

•          Background working in B2B SaaS environments

•          Ability to work independently and take ownership of a product area

 

➕ Nice to Have

•          Experience scaling APIs under real production/query load

•          Familiarity with vendor data ingestion or ETL-adjacent workflows

•          Experience working in startup or high-ownership environments
