Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging lectures and practical sessions
• Mentoring and guiding students in their academic and professional development
• Oversee the day-to-day academic and administrative functions of the department
• Plan and monitor teaching assignments, workload distribution, and academic schedules
• Ensure proper conduct of internal assessments, practical examinations, workshops, and seminars
• Coordinate with university authorities for approvals, documentation, and compliance matters
• Conducting research and contributing to the academic community
• Collaborating with industry professionals to enhance curriculum relevance

Requirements:

• A PhD in Mass Communication (MANDATORY)
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience
• Academic qualifications and experience as per UGC guidelines
• Strong academic background and research experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Industry experience in media or journalism (preferred)
