Role Description The Jr. Video Editor for Social Media is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. This role involves editing short-form and long-form video content tailored for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging channels. Day-to-day tasks include cutting and assembling raw footage, applying transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, and optimizing videos for different formats and aspect ratios. The Jr. Video Editor will collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align video output with campaign objectives and brand guidelines. The role also includes contributing creative ideas, maintaining organized project files, and meeting production deadlines.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for social media content.
- Ability to perform Video Color Grading to maintain consistent and appealing visual styles.
- Proficiency in Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
- Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
- Basic understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices for video content.
- Attention to detail, strong visual sense, and ability to take constructive feedback.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, India, collaborate within a team, and manage multiple projects.
- Relevant coursework or a diploma/degree in film, media, communication, or a related field is an advantage.
