Role Overview
The CISO – Delivery will lead the end-to-end delivery, governance, and operational excellence of TAC Security’s cybersecurity services portfolio. The role is responsible for ensuring successful execution of client engagements, maintaining service quality, driving customer satisfaction, managing security operations, and aligning cybersecurity outcomes with business objectives.
This position serves as a strategic advisor to clients while overseeing large-scale security programs across Vulnerability Management, Managed Security Services, SOC Operations, Penetration Testing, Attack Surface Management, AppSec, Compliance, and Risk Management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Cybersecurity Delivery Leadership
- Lead and oversee the delivery of cybersecurity services across global enterprise customers.
- Ensure consistent execution of security programs within defined scope, timelines, SLAs, and quality standards.
- Own customer success, service delivery governance, and operational performance.
- Establish delivery frameworks, processes, and best practices for scalable cybersecurity operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across security services and delivery functions.
Client & Executive Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted cybersecurity advisor for C-level executives and client leadership teams.
- Present security posture, risk assessments, strategic recommendations, and service performance reviews.
- Lead executive governance meetings and customer steering committees.
- Manage escalations and critical security incidents from a business and operational perspective.
- Support strategic account growth through strong client relationships and value realization.
Security Operations & Service Excellence
- Oversee SOC operations, threat monitoring, incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management services.
- Ensure adherence to contractual commitments, SLAs, KPIs, and compliance requirements.
- Drive security maturity improvements across customer environments.
- Review and optimize operational workflows, automation initiatives, and service efficiencies.
- Ensure effective crisis management and cyber incident coordination.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Guide customers on cybersecurity governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Ensure alignment with industry frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and other applicable standards.
- Lead security assessments, audits, risk reviews, and executive reporting.
- Establish metrics and reporting mechanisms for cyber risk visibility and program effectiveness.
Delivery Strategy & Business Growth
- Define and execute cybersecurity delivery strategies aligned with TAC Security's business objectives.
- Partner with Sales, Pre-Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to support business growth.
- Participate in RFPs, solution reviews, client presentations, and strategic opportunities.
- Identify emerging cybersecurity trends, technologies, and market opportunities.
- Contribute to service innovation and enhancement of TAC Security's cybersecurity offerings.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead and mentor delivery managers, security consultants, SOC teams, AppSec specialists, and technical leads.
- Build high-performing cybersecurity teams through coaching, performance management, and career development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and customer-centricity.
- Drive workforce planning, capability building, and succession planning.
Required Qualifications-
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field.
- Master's degree (MBA/MS) preferred.
- 15+ years of cybersecurity experience with at least 8+ years in leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading enterprise cybersecurity delivery, managed security services, SOC operations, or consulting practices.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, cloud security, application security, and security operations.
- Experience managing large-scale global client engagements and executive stakeholders.
