Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a CELPIP Trainer at Foreign Prep. The CELPIP Trainer will plan and deliver engaging online classes for learners preparing for the CELPIP exam, covering Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking modules. Responsibilities include designing lesson plans, creating practice materials and mock tests, and providing structured feedback on assignments and speaking responses. The trainer will track learner progress, identify areas for improvement, and offer personalized strategies to help candidates reach their target scores. Additional tasks include conducting doubt-clearing sessions, updating content based on CELPIP exam patterns and guidelines, collaborating with the academic team to enhance course quality, and maintaining accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Qualifications
- Strong command of English language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, and clear spoken communication suitable for CELPIP exam preparation.
- Experience in test preparation or language training, preferably with CELPIP exam.
- Ability to design structured lesson plans, learning materials, and practice tests aligned with CELPIP exam requirements.
- Comfort with online teaching tools, learning management systems, and virtual classroom platforms.
- Skills in evaluating learner performance, giving constructive feedback, and adjusting instruction to different proficiency levels.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple batches, schedules, and student queries in a remote setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; teaching certifications or CELPIP trainer credentials are an advantage.
