AI / ML Engineer (Intern / Early Stage)

Sequoia Print is a printing and packaging R&D studio building systems at the intersection of manufacturing, design, and software. We’re looking for an AI / ML Engineer (Intern) to work on applying machine learning to real-world factory problems. What you’ll work on: Analyzing production and machine data Detecting inefficiencies and downtime patterns Building data-driven dashboards Exploring computer vision for quality checks Applying AI to planning, estimation, and workflows Required Skills: Python (NumPy, Pandas, basic ML libraries) Understanding of machine learning fundamentals Ability to work with real-world, unstructured data Basic knowledge of APIs and backend systems Strong problem-solving mindset Bonus: Computer vision / OpenCV TensorFlow / PyTorch Experience with APIs or backend systems Why this role: You won’t work on generic ML problems. You’ll build systems that directly impact how a factory runs. Details: 6-month internship On-site (Kolkata) Immediate start
