🚀 Mid-Level SugarCRM Developer (PHP + Python) – Fully Remote, EST Hours

CyberNova Tech () is a growing technology solutions company specializing in custom development, secure digital solutions, innovative IT consulting and CyberSecurity solutions for North American clients.

We are hiring a SugarCRM Developer to join our remote team of 3 developers. You'll work closely with our senior SugarCRM developer who will mentor you on CRM architecture, customizations, and best practices. This is a 100% remote position with core working hours aligned to Eastern Standard Time (EST) — you must be available for collaboration from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST (roughly 7:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST). If you are productive and focused during evening/night hours and thrive in a quiet, distraction-free environment, this could be an excellent fit.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• Strong proficiency in PHP (modern PHP 8+ preferred)
• Solid hands-on experience with Python
• Working knowledge of Relational Databases, especially MySQL
• Comfortable working in Linux environments
• JavaScript experience
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs
• Proficient with Git for version control
• Strong problem-solving ability — skilled at tracing and debugging bugs across multi-layer systems
• SugarCRM platform customization experience (or strong PHP + Python fundamentals + willingness to learn SugarCRM)

Nice-to-Have Skills (Significant Advantage):

• CRM platform customization and data modelling - SugarCRM, SalesForce or others
• Building Python ETL pipelines
• Experience with Apache Server, CRON jobs, Regex, and data cleaning
• Cloud hosting (AWS or similar)
• Basic understanding of security best practices

• Design and build custom SugarCRM modules and workflows
• Integrate third-party systems with SugarCRM APIs
• Lead data migrations and platform upgrades
• Collaborate with clients to translate business requirements into CRM solutions
• Mentor junior developers as you grow (future opportunity)

Work Arrangement:

• Full Time - Fully Remote (work from anywhere in India with reliable high-speed internet)
• Core hours: 9 AM – 5 PM EST (Indian evening to late night)
• We respect work-life balance and support flexible scheduling within the required window

Experience: 1–3 years of relevant development experience.
