Position: TGT Social Studies

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Social Studies subjects including History, Geography, Civics, Political Science, and Economics to students.
• .Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum and learning outcomes
• .Use innovative teaching methodologies, including maps, charts, presentations, case studies, projects, smart boards, and activity-based learning
• .Conduct assessments, examinations, assignments, and projects to evaluate student performance
• .Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and student progress reports
• .Provide constructive feedback and support students' academic growth
• .Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and civic awareness among students
• .Ensure effective classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment
• .Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, school events, training programs, and co-curricular activities
• .Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student learning outcomes

.Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate/Postgraduate in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or a related Social Science discipline
• .B.Ed. degree is mandatory
• .Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE/ICSE school preferred
• .Strong subject knowledge and communication skills
• .Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology
