The Insurance Sales Officer will be responsible for identifying prospective clients, explaining insurance products, and recommending suitable plans based on individual needs and financial goals. Daily activities include meeting customers in person, handling inquiries, preparing quotations, and assisting clients with policy applications, renewals, and documentation. The role also involves achieving sales targets, maintaining accurate records in CRM or reporting tools, and coordinating with internal teams for underwriting, claims, and customer support. The Insurance Sales Officer is expected to build strong, long-term client relationships and provide clear, ethical guidance on insurance solutions.QualificationsStrong knowledge of Insurance products and the ability to match solutions to customer needs.Solid Finance and Analytical Skills to interpret customer profiles, assess risk, and recommend appropriate coverage.Proven Sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets in a target-driven environment.Excellent Customer Service capabilities, including active listening, clear communication, and problem-solving.Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field preferred.Comfort working on-site in Kochi and engaging with customers face to face on a daily basis.Ability to work with basic office software, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms.Relevant certifications in insurance or financial services (e.g., IRDAI license) are an advantage.High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to customer-focused selling.
