Key Responsibilities
▸ Design leadership & mentorship: Lead, coach, and inspire junior and mid-level designers — fostering a
positive learning culture and raising the bar on craft and process.
▸ Strategic design thinking: Drive design strategy using Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) frameworks, translating
user motivations into scalable, impactful product experiences.
▸ Cross-functional alignment: Act as the primary design voice in strategic discussions with product, data
science, and engineering leadership.
▸ Design ops contribution: Help define and improve design processes, rituals, and documentation to scale
team effectiveness.
▸ Full-stack design ownership: Take end-to-eG;p
and wireframes to polished, developer-ready deliverables.
▸ Problem framing & hypothesis: Deeply understand problem statements, articulate design hypotheses,
and collaborate with product and engineering to ensure business objectives are met.
▸ Rapid prototyping & validation: Define success metrics, prototype ideas quickly, and embed a test-andlearn
culture across the team.
▸ Design system stewardship: Contribute meaningfully to evolving the Design System
ensuring consistency, scalability, and accessibility across the platform.
▸ Research collaboration: Partner with the research team to identify study areas, formulate research goals,
facilitate usability tests, and synthesise insights into design decisions.
▸ HCI & design trends: Stay current with interaction design trends and apply cognitive principles to optimise
Time-to-Task Completion.
