Key Responsibilities

▸ Design leadership & mentorship: Lead, coach, and inspire junior and mid-level designers — fostering a

positive learning culture and raising the bar on craft and process.

▸ Strategic design thinking: Drive design strategy using Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) frameworks, translating

user motivations into scalable, impactful product experiences.

▸ Cross-functional alignment: Act as the primary design voice in strategic discussions with product, data

science, and engineering leadership.

▸ Design ops contribution: Help define and improve design processes, rituals, and documentation to scale

team effectiveness.

▸ Full-stack design ownership: Take end-to-eG;p

and wireframes to polished, developer-ready deliverables.

▸ Problem framing & hypothesis: Deeply understand problem statements, articulate design hypotheses,

and collaborate with product and engineering to ensure business objectives are met.

▸ Rapid prototyping & validation: Define success metrics, prototype ideas quickly, and embed a test-andlearn

culture across the team.

▸ Design system stewardship: Contribute meaningfully to evolving the Design System

ensuring consistency, scalability, and accessibility across the platform.

▸ Research collaboration: Partner with the research team to identify study areas, formulate research goals,

facilitate usability tests, and synthesise insights into design decisions.

▸ HCI & design trends: Stay current with interaction design trends and apply cognitive principles to optimise

Time-to-Task Completion.


Required Skills & Qualifications

▸ Experience leading or mentoring designers in a collaborative studio or product team.

▸ Demonstrated ability to drive design strategy, not just execution.

▸ Comfort facilitating whiteboarding sessions, design critiques, and cross-functional workshops.

▸ 7–10 years of hands-on UX/Product Design experience, with a strong portfolio of shipped B2B or SaaS

products.

▸ Mastery of Figma — including variables, auto-layout, components, and prototyping.

▸ Solid grasp of Information Architecture (IA), User Flow Mapping, Wireframing, and High-Fidelity

Prototyping.

▸ Proven experience designing for enterprise/B2B, SaaS platforms, or complex data dashboards.

▸ Deep understanding of cognitive design principles: Hick's Law, Fitts's Law, and Gestalt psychology.

▸ Familiarity with Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) and other strategic UX frameworks.

▸ Experience with a broad range of user research and usability testing methodologies.

▸ Ability to work autonomously within an agile/scrum delivery environment.

▸ Strong communication skills — can articulate and defend design rationale to non-design stakeholders.
