Key Responsibilities:


Compliance Program Management:

  • Develop, implement, and lead the organization's Compliance & Ethics framework.
  • Establish compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance and ethics-related matters.


Regulatory Compliance:

  • Develop and maintain a robust compliance management system across corporate and manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate laws, labour laws, environmental regulations, anti-bribery, anti-money laundering (AML), export control, and internal policies.
  • Manage regulatory compliance calendars, statutory filings, renewals, and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess their business impact.
  • Conduct periodic compliance assessments and audits, implementing corrective actions where required.


Corporate Governance & Ethics:

  • Develop and implement Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) and Code of Conduct programs.
  • Oversee AML policies, KYC/CDD processes, and monitoring of high-risk transactions.
  • Manage whistleblower mechanisms, investigations, and ethics-related reporting.
  • Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and ethical decision-making across the organization.


ESG & Corporate Compliance:

  • Drive compliance with Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) regulations and standards.
  • Monitor ESG performance metrics in collaboration with business functions.
  • Ensure compliance with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) requirements and reporting obligations.


Training & Awareness:

  • Design and deliver organization-wide compliance and ethics training programs.
  • Promote awareness of compliance policies, ethical standards, and organizational values.
  • Provide guidance on compliance-related matters and ethical dilemmas.


Leadership & Stakeholder Management:

  • Lead and mentor the Compliance team, driving capability development and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with senior leadership, business functions, auditors, and external stakeholders on compliance initiatives.
  • Provide strategic compliance risk mitigation recommendations across the organization.


Governance, Risk & Continuous Improvement:

  • Track emerging regulatory trends and industry best practices.
  • Drive implementation of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) tools and technology solutions.
  • Lead initiatives to strengthen compliance culture and improve operational effectiveness.
  • Prepare and present compliance reports, dashboards, and updates for senior management and governance committees.
