JOB DESCRIPTION – VIDEO EDITOR
Are you passionate about transforming raw footage into engaging visual stories? Do you understand pacing, storytelling, transitions, sound, and visual impact? If so, we would love to have you on our team!
SRS Pro is looking for a creative and experienced Video Editor with strong knowledge of professional video-editing software. The candidate should be able to produce reels, promotional videos, corporate videos, and social media content.

Key Responsibilities
- Understand project briefs, scripts, storyboards, shot lists, and creative requirements.
- Organise, synchronise, and manage raw footage, audio files, and other project assets.
- Edit raw footage into engaging and well-structured videos.
- Ensure logical sequencing, smooth transitions, visual consistency, and effective storytelling.
- Add suitable music, sound effects, graphics, subtitles, transitions, and colour correction.
- Create and edit reels, promotional videos, corporate videos, and social media content.
- Coordinate with the content, design, digital marketing, and production teams.
- Review and revise videos based on internal and client feedback.
- Maintain proper project files and ensure timely delivery.
- Knowledge of 2D/3D animation and motion graphics will be an added advantage.
Educational Qualification
- A degree or diploma in Film Production, Media Studies, Mass Communication, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred.
- Candidates with a strong portfolio and relevant practical experience will also be considered.
Required Skills and Software
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Photoshop
- Photography and cinematography
- Video storytelling and creative thinking
- Basic scriptwriting and visualisation
- Colour correction and sound synchronisation
- Strong time-management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team
Knowledge of 3ds Max or Blender will be an added advantage.
Additional Responsibilities
- Monitor the quality and progress of video and audio editing.
- Experiment with new editing styles, techniques, and graphic elements.
- Select the most effective shots based on storytelling, continuity, and visual impact.
- Write or refine voice-over scripts and commentary when required.
- Suggest and select suitable music, sound effects, and audio elements.
- Assist with photography and videography shoots when required.
